We had such a fun day today! First of all, it was warm and sunny...a perfect day for a visit to the beach. After some unsuccessful thrift shopping, we headed over to West Seattle for a long awaited visit to Bakery Nouveau. Adam and I had heard such wonderful things about this bakery, so we decided to give it a try. We knew the line out the door and down the sidewalk was a good sign, and we weren't disappointed. 
We took our treats to Alki Beach and ate while we people watched. We shared a slice of fresh baked pizza and a brown sugar pecan brioche for dessert. Yum! I'll be going back there again...hopefully soon!
We soaked in the sun, and then met up with my parents and my Aunt Ginny, Uncle Collin and Spencer who were in town for Spenny's birthday. We topped off the day with a little shopping, and then headed home. That is exactly what a Saturday should feel like!
