Yesterday was my 27th birthday. Wow, so much has happened this year. I was pregnant, we left Bellevue to live with my parents, Adam started a new job, I left my job and started my own company, we had a baby, bought our first house...like I said, it's been a BIG year. God has blessed me in so many ways, and I hope that I never for once take those blessings for granted.To celebrate the big 2-7, I had a relaxing morning at home. Then I had lunch with Adam, which was a special treat considering how busy work is right now. Grayson was such a good baby all day. He took a long nap that allowed me time to paint my nails. We went over to my parent's house for a perfect summer meal of bbq hamburgers, corn on the cob and fruit salad...topped off with a slice of ice cream cake. I loved being able to spend time with family.
My family showered me with such thoughtful gifts, friends and family called, sent cards and posted birthday wishes on Facebook...I felt VERY loved. Grayson decided that he wanted to give me a gift too. So, he slept through the night. There was no crying. There was no sudden wake-up at 4:30am. He (and I) had a perfect night sleep from 10:30-6:45. Oh my, it was heaven! Thank you G for such a wonderful birthday present!
