I'm going to start this post by apologizing for the overabundance of pictures. There were just too many absolutely adorable there-was-no-way-I-could-leave-them-out photos of my little man that I simply could not choose. And well, since this is my blog...I decided I would just go ahead and post them all. Ha! (I'm sure Grayson's grandparents won't be complaining!).

During Labor Day weekend, Adam was able to spend time with family in Arizona. We savor our weekends together, so it was hard to be apart...but Grayson and I had fun on our own too! We headed over to the cabin with my parents and the Days. Fall was certainly in the air, but the sun was still shining.
We had such a relaxing weekend. Grayson was a good sport and put up with a photo shoot or two on the deck.

He spent some time studying the local wildlife with Nana. (Katie that's you in the background! I didn't get a good picture of you from the weekend!)

We went for a couple of walks. Since the air was brisk, I bundled him up. Papa let him borrow a hat. Also, please note the flannel shirt. Perfect for the cabin!

There is no doubt that G is one loved little boy! He spent a lot of time making everyone laugh.

Chewing on jewelry. Basically everything goes into his mouth these days.

Papa sharing words of wisdom.

This is one of the sweetest pictures I have seen! It's a little blurry, but it doesn't matter. It is just so adorable!

Buttons! He has a new found fascination with buttons.

I will never get tired of this view. We had a conversation this weekend about the "place" where we go to feel most like ourselves. For me, that place is the cabin. No stress. No to-do lists. No timelines. Just pure relaxation. Time with family, making memories and enjoying life.

I love being able to share this place with Grayson. I hope that he will love it as much as I do.

Kyla, those pictures of your dad and Grayson are adorable! Good job capturing those moments, I feel like time is going so fast!
