Fall has made its arrival in the Northwest. It's been rainy, crisp and cold. I have partaken in the delicious-
ness of the pumpkin spice latte. I've pulled out my sweaters and packed up my tank tops.
And then Saturday came around.
The sun made a triumphant return. We turned on the air conditioner in the car. We slathered on the
spf on G. We packed up some snacks and went to a park on Lake Washington. We soaked in what may be the last hot day of the year while laying on beach towels in the grass.
The other fun event of the weekend was a trip with my mom and sister to the local library. They have an annual book sale. I should take a picture of the goods I came home with! I walked away with 59 books and 5
dvds for $19.75! Between the three of us we took home 130 different
children's books! Here's to hoping our children love to read!!
