Napa Trip...Part 1

What could be better than a combination of time spent with family...while drinking amazing wine...while sitting in the sun? Not much! Two weeks ago my parents took our family on a week long trip to Napa Valley and Sonoma. It was a great trip, and honestly the only reason I have put off writing about it is due to the fact that I have WAY too many amazing pictures to choose from. Therefore, I decided to tell about the trip in a series of posts. Since every day was packed with adventures, I'll cover a day or two on each post. Get ready...here comes day 1 (and 2)!

Day 1 was a travel day. Adam and I were nervous about flying with Grayson since he had a cold. He tugged on his ears a little on the descent, but otherwise did
great. Between oodles of food and games on the iPad, he stayed pretty content. It was also nice traveling with Katelyn and Kerry, and they took turns playing with G as well (my parents would be coming down a couple days later).

That night we got settled and had dinner at the condo.

The next morning we decided to head into San Fran for the day. We wanted to have at least one day of sight seeing, and this was a great day to go.
We walked along Fisherman's Wharf and ran into several "statues". Grayson was less than thrilled by this guy.
He forgot all about the scary "metal" man when he tasted his first hamburger...and his first In-N-Out meal. Yum!
Next stop was The Painted Ladies (although we call them the Full House houses!). We were singing the theme songs basically the entire time we were there.
There is a park across the street, so we stretched our legs in the grass and watched dogs at the off-leash dog area.

Ghirardelli Square. This was the first of many many fountains Grayson loved on this trip. We ate amazing ice cream and soaked in the sun.
Once we got back to the hotel, we took Grayson to the pool for the first time. He loved it just as we suspected he would. He loves water of any kind!
