Coffee

Recently Grayson has said a few things involving coffee that I need to record just so I don't forget them! For a long time he has been interested in coffee. When he says it, it sounds more like "cogne". We not sure how the "gn" made it into this word. :) I pull out a mug in the morning, and I hear, "Cogne Mama! Hot cogne.". This happened until last week when Grayson suddenly started saying "coffee". I'm proud of him for learning a new word, but also a little sad that I will never hear "cogne" again.

The other coffee related story involves Starbucks. Grayson has visited Starbucks only a handful of times, but it was one of his early words. Grayson likes to talk about where everyone is during the day. He'll say, "Dadda. Work. Office." or "Gama. Home". He also talks about his friends Tommy and Daniel a lot. Yesterday he said, "Tommy. Home.", and then he told me, "Daniel. Workin.". Ha! I said, "Daniel is at work? Where does he work?". Grayson responded with a smile, "Starbucks. Daniel work Starbucks.". I had no idea Starbucks hired such young employees!
