My Fall Wreath

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the sounds, the smells, the crisp air and cozy fires, and the colors. I felt that my front porch needed a burst of color for the fall season. Believe it or not, this wreath was made from coffee filters!
I followed this tutorial. I soaked both brown and white coffee filters in acrylic paint mixed with water. I used pink, orange, yellow, red and rusty brown. Allow the filters to dry on paper towels (My counter was covered with drying filters for a few days).
Follow the tutorial above to create flowers of all sizes. It takes some time, but I did it over a couple of days while watching movies.
Use hot glue to glue flowers onto a grapevine wreath. I added pine cones and leaves that I already had at home for more of a fall look.
I tied the wreath in the back with a golden cord and hung it on my front door. I love the way my front porch looks with this beautiful wreath!
