Before I was a Mommy there was so much that I missed during a simple car ride to the store. Garbage trucks were off my radar. Who knew that trucks packed with refuse could be such an exciting sight?
Construction sights were a place to be avoided, but now getting stuck in traffic next to road construction truly makes for an exciting outing. Diggers, bulldozers, dump trucks, steam rollers, cement trucks, hard hats, dirt...endless joy!
School buses, city buses, BIG trucks, boats, tow trucks are talked about endlessly in our car these days. He also calls every maroon colored car "Mommy's car" and every silver car "Daddy's car".
As if there wasn't enough excitement outside, Grayson is thrilled to be listening to the classical music station on the radio. He gets giddy when he can hear the piano, guitar, violin, cello, trumpet and drums.
I usually keep a few toys or books in the car, but they are rarely (if ever) used! An entirely new world has been opened up to me through the eyes of my almost 2 year old.
