Years ago my sister and I ran in the Seattle March of Dimes. We participated then because she was once a preemie baby, but this year we walked in the Everett walk in honor of Christian. Adam, Grayson and I joined Katelyn, Kerry and Christian for the morning event. Both boys started in strollers, and we started at about the mid-way point amongst all the walkers.
It was a good turn out.
After making stops to adjust, get snacks, fetch new toys and let Grayson out to walk...we ended up coming in nearly dead last.
Oh well. Grayson loved the chance to walk hand in hand with Adam and Kerry. When he wasn't attached to Adam, he was chasing to hold hands with Kerry (who did a great job balancing pushing a stroller and holding onto a two year old. Now easy to do!).
My cheese ball wearing a doctor's hat and playing with his pinwheel which both boys enjoyed playing with.
Sweet Christian.
Team Christian's Crew. While we enjoyed gawking at the beautiful houses along the race route, next year we'll be returning to the Seattle March of Dimes next year for one reason...they have more swag at the end of the race. We also hope to grow our team next year. Want to join us?
