We declared Sunday to be Family Day. Adam had been out of town for Noah's bachelor party, and the lack of family time that week was getting to us. The remedy we decided was a cup of coffee and a walk in the park. We headed to Bothell Landing and walked along the Sammamish River Trail/ Burke Gilman Trail. Grayson rode his bike, although truth be told, Adam and I pushed the bike while G ran next to us for most of the walk.
Both boys stopped to tie/velcro their shoelaces. They are two of a kind.

Later in the day we went for a walk in the neighborhood to visit the horses. Some days we can get them to come over to the fence, and that day we gave them a fern snack.
Our last stop was the park in our neighborhood. Grayson asked Adam to sit at the table with him, and he said he was making dinner. He wanted Adam to pretend to eat the delicious wood chip "dinner". I love his imagination. :)
We all loved our family day together.
