At the beginning of summer, Adam and I made a summer bucket list. A list of fun things we wanted to do during the summer. One adventure was going to the Kirkland waterfront for ice cream. We had a free Saturday morning, so we hopped in the car and set out for an adventure. There was a summer festival going on that we didn't know about, so we ended up walking around a little bit as things were getting set up.
There was a duck race of some kind happening that afternoon. Grayson was in awe of so many rubber duckies in one place!
We walked along the waterfront, stopped in at Starbucks for a coffee fix, and walked along the docks talking about the animals that live in the lake and what they eat (a current favorite topic of conversation for Grayson these days. He wants to know what all animals eat and where they live). Then we stopped in for ice cream at a hole in the wall shop on the water.
Grayson requested chocolate ice cream.
Chocolate mustache! He loved the ice cream, and said "Mmmm..." after almost every lick.
