A beautiful flight. God is so creative with his sunsets. Both the kids were a little stir crazy on the plane, but did pretty well. Makenna and I sat behind Adam and G. The poor man sitting next to me was kicked by little Miss M the entire flight, but he was a good sport about it.
We LOVED getting a good dose of sunshine. Time to thaw out! We started our first day off with a trip to Starbucks where
Our next stop was going over to the assisted living home where Adam's grandpa Maurie was living. You could see his face light up when he met the kids. Grayson held hands with him and told him all about Buzz Lightyear, Woody and race cars.
Family picture.
We went over to the fountains at Kierland shopping center. It was the perfect way to cool off. To say G had fun is a huge understatement!
This little lady had fun too. I love her new sun hat I got for the summer.
Stan met us there (a surprise to Grayson).
Joan got the kids a little pool to play in at the house. It was Makenna's first time in a pool and she loved it. I love the swimsuits she has! So cute!
Grayson could've played in the water the entire afternoon!
We also had super soakers to keep us cool. Grayson had a blast spraying us all and chasing us down for a good soak. He thought it was hysterical when he and I soaked Adam after his run. To tell the truth, I thought it was pretty fun too to spray Adam!
Stand and Joan took the kids in their car, and Adam and I drove the Benz for a drive to Sedona. It was a treat to get so much time with Adam.
My sweet boy.
Grayson and Joan went on a fountain hunt in the area we were at for lunch in Sedona. They were everywhere, and Grayson made it his mission to touch each one!
G and Grandpa.
I love the mountains of Sedona. Such beauty.
We spent a lot of time just hanging out together on the back deck of the house. We watched the quail, lizards and bunnies play in the backyard, ate all our meals at that table and played with the kids.
We went over to Adam's Grandma Wynell's house one afternoon. Grayson was thrilled to get to play in her pool. She had purchased a perfect life jacket for him, and he quickly became a fish!
I LOVE this picture of Wynell and Makenna!
Even though the water was chilly, Makenna loved hanging out in the water too.
Joan sat here with the kids while they both kicked their legs as hard has they could.
Wynell and her great-grandbabies.
I had so many pictures to share, so I made another blog post with the rest...
