Grayson's core muscles are going into overdrive these days as he's beginning to try to sit up. He's a long way away from doing it on his own. However, all he needs is a helping hand behind his back and a pair of fingers to hold onto as he pulls himself up.
Earlier today he was in his bouncer chair and was trying with all of his might to sit up. His feet were stuck up in the air as he tried to push off from the chair. Of course he couldn't get anywhere without help, so he ended up just getting frustrated until we came to the rescue.

With all of this sitting going on,
Grayson is now loving his
bumbo chair. I usually keep a hand behind his head since he stil often looks like a bobble head figure, but I had to make an exception to get these pictures. :) He looks so old sitting there on his own!

He gets really proud of himself too when he's able to sit on his own. He'll arch his back and say, "Ooh!" with a huge smile on his face. I love the picture above because he's smiling at my parents' dog, Harley.
Grayson has become quite enamoured with the dogs lately, and loves to watch them.

When
Grayson was born he had thick, dark hair. Slowly but surely, it all fell out...except for a small patch at the nape of his neck. It's just asking to be styled...

Or maybe a little more subtle ponytail...

Oh
Grayson. He's a good sport. :)
We visited
Auntie Katelyn's classroom today for a quick show and tell.
Grayson is on celebrity status in that class. All of the kids wanted to try and get him to smile. By the end of our time there, the kids had decided that
Grayson would be a football playing astronaut who raced in
Nascar in his spare time. Wow...
Grayson has a very full future ahead of him. :)
No way is there a pink clip in Grayson's hair. I love it.
