A Weekend At The Lake

This weekend we packed up and headed to the lake with my family. It was a rare weekend where we were able to get together all 7 people (and 4 dogs :)). Grayson had a blast! He played hard and slept hard. (It looks like the medicine for acid reflux is working!). He is one well loved little boy!

The weather was beautiful on Saturday, so the boys went to work burning all of the debris that had floated onto the beach over the winter. Grayson joined them for a picture. How adorable is his hat?!

Grayson got some quality time with his Daddy this weekend too. Adam took over for me so I was able to sip my coffee while doing by bible study in the morning. It was such a treat!

We went into Leavenworth for the afternoon. Of course a trip to the Cheese Monger was a must. The the girls shopped while the boys went wine tasting. I think they visited 5 wineries total. Grayson slept through most of this while he was in the Moby wrap. He loves his Moby wrap. It's a guarunteed way to get him to fall asleep.

Adam and I went for a hike on the way home. In my memory it was much MUCH easier. I was carrying Grayson in the Moby wrap. The combination of being out of shape, the extra 13 pounds of Grayson and the warm sun made for a tough hike. We turned around about 3/4 of the way though. It was a beautiful though, and we enjoyed our time in nature. The rest of the weekend was spent eating, playing games, watching movies, sleeping and enjoying the glassy lake.
