Let the Weddings Begin!

I spent Saturday laying out favors and place cards, lining up finely coiffed ladies and gentlemen, fluffing dresses, lighting candles, timing toasts, cleaning up flowers and chair covers. That's right...I was at a wedding. I took off my "mom" hat for the day and stepped into the role of wedding coordinator. I have been doing events for years, and once Grayson was born I decided that I would start my own even planning company. Bluebird Signature Events was created.
(This is the view from the reception at Salty's taken on my assistant Lisa's phone. Gorgeous!)

The wedding was a smashing success. The bride and groom couldn't have been happier. While I was away Grayson spent the afternoon with Aunt Kellie and Uncle Alex. Kellie wrote the sweetest blog post about it. Check it out here. Adam took over for the evening (He had to work in the afternoon). It was strange being away from Grayson for that long! Luckily I was very busy so the temptation to check in on him every 15 minutes couldn't happen. They all reported that G did great and was a perfectly happy baby all day. Well, that's one wedding down...two more to go!
