The Past Few Days Catchup

Grayson has had a very busy few days. I'm currently trying to get the house in order for the arrival of my in-laws early next week (Hi Stan and Joan!). That means while I'm working on the house, Grayson is following close by. He's been LOVING playing in the exesaucer, lounging in his swing while watching Praise Baby and sitting in his car seat in the grass while I work in the yard. He is such an easy going baby, so this makes organizing the house SO much easier for me.
Two days ago we went to visit my mom and Katelyn on their last day of school. Grayson has risen to celebrity status at that school. Between a gushing Grandma and an adoring Aunt...I think everyone has come to love this little man. Katelyn's class in particular is smitten with him. One student even said Grayson was one of the highlights of his year! What a doll! I was so flattered!
Yesterday Grayson attended a meeting with a July bride (at her request!). He was passed around the table just giggling, singing and chewing on everything in sight. Lip gloss, toys, a shoulder...you name it and he was chewing on it or trying to chew on it. Our meeting was at a cupcake shop in Snohomish called Simply Sweet Cupcakes. They are quickly becoming my favorite cupcakes in the area! Delish!

After the meeting and devouring my mocha cupcake and coffee, we headed back to Katelyn's classroom to help her clean up. Grayson was not too thrilled to be harnessed into his car seat, but with Nana's help...he finally fell asleep.
In between all of this happening Grayson has also been busy trying new foods (more on that later), taking naps like a champ (Thank you! Thank you!), learning to roll over in both directions and growing like a weed! Whew! Like I said...it's been a busy few days!
