A Get Away to Nana and Papa's House

Last week we spent a few nights over at my parents house while we had the interior of our home painted. The paint is gorgeous, but the fumes were unbearable. We were lucky to have a place to stay so close to home!

One of the things that I miss about living at my parent's house is the neighborhoods up the hill with a never ending amount of sidewalks for walking. So, of course I had to take Grayson for a walk. This was the first time G faced forward in the stroller. Up until now I had been using the infant car seat adapter. I loved being able to look at G while we walked along. However, he had begun to strain his neck to try and see around him (not to mention the fact that his feet were hanging off the car seat!). He loves facing forward! He looks so grown up! I miss being able to look at him during walks, but he still turns around and checks in with me every now and then.
