He's on the move!

This little man has been crawling all over the place this week! He has figured out the whole using your knees to move thing and has realized it's a lot faster than dragging your legs behind you! He's sitting up, laying on his side, crawling across the floor, and...
standing up in his pack n play and crib!

Oh dear! I think we've just entered a new phase.

Today he was crying as he was going to sleep for a nap, and I went in to give him his pacifier. I opened the door and found myself face to face with him! He was standing up in the crib with his arms hanging over the railing! I immediately lowered the mattress. It's now at the lowest setting. My guess is that we're going to have a little escape artist on our hands in the very near future...and my prayer is that I never hear him fall out of the crib!

Grayson is very proud that he can pull himself up. It's already lead to a few bumped lips and a few tears as he gets used to this new trick. Often times he'll stand up and then plop immediately back down in order to clap for himself. He knows he's kind of a big deal. :)
Another new adventure G has been trying out is sitting in the shopping cart seat. He looks less than thrilled in this picture since I had the nerve to allow grocery shopping to cut into his snack and nap time! :) He looks so grown up sitting there!
