Bats!

We have had an invasion of bats in our family room! The colony (yes, that is what a group of bats is called) swooped in last night and they are here to stay to help make our house festive for Halloween. I love how they turned out!

I originally found the idea here, which was created from this template from Country Living. It is such a simple project. Simply use the template to create dozens of bats on black construction paper, then use double stick tape to attach them to your wall.

Grayson joined the decorating frenzy by putting up these window clings. He keeps talking about the bats and "punkins" on the window. Every now and then he'll peel one off and move it to another spot on the door.

Our house certainly feels festive now!
