What Will It Bee?

On Monday I was honored to be able to go to Katelyn's 20 week ultrasound...that's the big one. The one where you get to find out if the baby is the boy or a girl! It was so much fun seeing the sweet profile of Baby Day, looking at it's kicking toes and arms curled up to it's face. There was a catch though...Katelyn and Kerry weren't going to find out what the baby was...yet.

The tech turned off the monitor when she knew we'd be able to see something revealing. Once we had left the room, the tech wrote down the sex on a paper and sealed it in an envelope. The mama and daddy-to-be took the envelope into the baker who made cupcakes filled with either pink or blue frosting.
There are the cupcakes!

Cute decorations made by my creative sister.

A photographer in the making!

We wore the color (either pink or blue) that we thought matched the baby! The ipad is my Dad who was at the party via facetime, and he was guessing it would be a girl.
Everyone else was guessing it would be a boy!

Katelyn and Kerry bit into the cupcakes first...and Kerry's mouth full of frosting gave it away!
They are having a...

BOY!!!
Grayson even got to bite into a cupcake with Kerry's sister, Jennifer.

I see blue!

They asked us to write down name suggestions for Baby Boy Day. Grayson suggested "Elmo Song".

Grayson was coming off of a sugar high from the cupcakes (and it was two hours) past his bedtime, so he was getting a little fussy. Uncle Kerry saved the day with Sesame Street.

It was such a fun night, and such a creative idea!

Another boy in the family...us girls are officially outnumbered!
