Snowy Cabin

Grayson and I went over to the cabin with my parents, Katelyn, Kerry and Christian a few weekends ago. Adam was planning on coming over the next day, but there was so much snow on the pass he ended up having to stay home. We had such a relaxing time, but I think Grayson's favorite part by far was playing in the snow. All he wanted to do the entire time was play in the snow or eat it or both.
We bundled up tight and played outside until our cheeks were pink and our pants thoroughly soaked.
Throwing snowballs. He thought it was hilarious to throw snow balls at his Nana and Papa. We also made a snowman who he names Mango, and a snow slide.
He made snow angels, stomped in the snow, ate oodles of snow (but also informed us not to eat the yellow snow...thank you Papa for teaching him that special word of advice), sat for about two minutes in the sled and kept asking me to make more snow balls for him to throw. When we finally did go inside, Grayson wanted to be back in the snow so badly that my mom filled a bucket with snow for him to play with inside.
I was able to sneak away to go snow shoeing for a bit in the State Park. I love walking through the trees and snow and feeling so completely in awe of what an awesome God we have.
Eating more snow!

On this trip he not only named the snowman, but he also gave names to the two otters living under our dock...Beagle and Pickle!
