New Traditions

Last year Adam took the day off and we went to Seattle as a family to explore the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton, the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont and to have lunch. We had such a great time that we decided to make it a new tradition for our family. Adam took Monday off and the four of us loaded into the car for our adventure.

The first stop was Starbucks for a red cup drink. Then we went to the gingerbread houses. They were incredible! It is amazing what you can make with sugar. The details were amazing. We only had one incident where Grayson darted under the rope and tried to touch one of the massive castles...luckily I caught him before we were banned from the Sheraton!

Next on the agenda was the Teddy Bear Suite. It is a suite that's completely decked out with holiday decor, teddy bears and Christmas books.

Grayson loved cuddling with the bears that were piled on the bed.

We did a little window shopping, ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and got a peek at Santa through the window at Nordstrom. We also put our new double stroller to good use. We all loved having that!

It was such a fun day! I am all about Christmas traditions, and I love this new one we have started in our family.
