Makenna loves being in the swing at home. Grayson loves to stop it from swinging in order to give her loves. Unfortunately sometimes he tries to start it swinging again and usually gives her a little too hard of a push. When I hear the swing stop I have to be right there to make sure Makenna doesn't go flying too fast back and forth.
We've still had a little trouble with Makenna getting gassy at night. She's starting to transition back to sleeping in the crib at night, but often she'll sleep in her car seat. Our motto has been "whatever works"! When we are trying to get her to sleep in the car seat, she likes to be swung back and forth. She continues to have a hard time falling to sleep, but once she reaches a deep sleep she's out and can sleep through just about anything.
After a morning in the swing, we had our friends Tommy, Christian, Poppy, Aston and their mommies over for a play date. We watched the Polar Express (well, had it on while the kids played), ate cookies, made torn paper Christmas trees, and us moms even got to have a good conversation (sometimes an impossible feat when we try to take the kids out somewhere for a play date). I am so blessed to have such good friends!
