Sweet M Turns Two Months

Makenna is two months old! It's hard to believe because it feels like the time has flown by. On the other hand, it feels like she has been a part of our family for much longer. 

She is such a sweet baby. I'm learning to read her cues so much more easily, which has made life a whole lot easier for both of us.

She is still sleeping in the car seat most nights. Our motto continues to be "whatever works". Neither of us get much sleep when we try to put her in the crib at night. Oh how I love sleep...Naps are getting easier to accomplish in the crib.

She's in three month clothes and size one diapers. Goodness...I forgot how many diapers you go through in these early months! 

Makenna loves making eye contact and is most content laying on our knees and looking at us.

She traveled to the cabin for the first time this month. We loved having her there, and I loved having extended family have the chance to meet her. However, she decided that she would not be sleeping AT ALL in the pack and play. That was when we started using the car seat for sleeping since we'd left the bouncer chair at home. Whatever works. :)

Grayson came into the nursery while I was taking pictures of Makenna, and he decided he needed a cuddle with her. 

Then he decided that she wanted to cuddle and get extra cozy. He ran down to his room and got blue blankey, Poley, Elmo and Buddy blanket. He got her all tucked in on his own, and then laid down next to her for some cuddle time. Adorable!
