Grayson Turns Three!

I can't even begin to believe that my little guy is already three years old! The time has flown by! He is such a joy and I feel blessed beyond measure to be his Mommy. He is a spitfire and keeps me on my toes, but he has a perfect balance of being feisty and then coming to give me a seemingly random sweet kiss on my nose.

He loves everything about life, and wants to experience it all. He has no fear whatsoever about trying new things. He loves it all. From playing, to reading, to running laps around the house (his exercise as he calls it), to scootering, to cuddling, to fort building, to storytelling. He is creative, full of energy, and has an amazing imagination.

He doesn't like change too much, and has a very set routine for bedtime. Blue blanky must be tucked just so, pjs must feel a certain way, teeth brushed, sip of water, books read, prayers, story, song...bedtime can take awhile. :)

He is 41.81 inches tall (100th percentile of course). He weighs 38.5 lbs. (95th percentile). He is a TALL kiddo, and is wearing size 4T clothes. He is officially only in diapers for nighttime although he doesn't really need them even then.

He adores his baby sister and wants to kiss her all the time. He loves to talk to her, and always wants to help calm her down whenever she gets fussy. He has just been the best big brother to her.

Grayson loves his friends and family, and loves spending time with them. He loves being in the preschool classrooms at church now, and he's communicating with us much more clearly the things he learns in class.

He likes to pray now, and will always thank God for each item of food at dinner and always ask for help sleeping at night.

The things he says are just so funny. I try to write them down in my journal, but I would fill a journal a week if I wrote them all down.

He loves watching shows, but his favorites change often. Cars (the movie), Sesame Street, Barney, Wonder Pets, Fresh Beat Band, Diego...he loves watching them all. He also loves to sing and dance. In the car he'll ask to listen to "his favorite", but his favorite song always changes. Currently it is Carried Away by Passion Pit. Haha!

I am just so blessed by this little boy.
