Grayson put a few of his own additions onto our summer bucket list. One of them was going to the Mill Creek Skateboard Competition. He loves watching skateboarding. He's never tried it, but if you ask what he's saving up the money in his piggybank for, he'll say "For my own skateboard!". He's been saving for about a year now. I love his determination!
We set out that morning for a day of fun. Our first stop was a new field that was put into a new neighborhood by my parent's house. The field was awesome, and we had half of it all to ourselves.
Grayson is quite the soccer player. He'll kick the ball up and down the field, and we have to run pretty fast to keep up with him.
Grayson's cheerleaders! It was Grayson's idea that we be the cheerleaders. He came over every now and then to ask for a cheer. :)

The next stop was the competition. It was at the skate park, and Grayson was in awe watching all the kids do their tricks.
He climbed right up against the fence to watch. He was pretty quiet, taking it all in. We watched for a couple rounds, ate a piece of pizza and went home. I'm so happy that my boy put this on the summer bucket list. What a fun morning.
