It seems like every weekend we have had something going on, but today we had a rare "free" day. It was so nice to be able to spend the day with my sweet family of three. After Grayson's morning nap we headed over to Home Depot. I've found that once we became homeowners we tend to get excited about strange things. I never knew I would be so thrilled about new toilet seats. :) Grayson was excited about being able to help out by carrying a wooden dowel for me.
After another nap and lunch at home, we went in search of a park. We ended up at Log Boom Park in Kenmore. We walked along the water, and then merged onto the Burke Gilman Trail.

We made a stop at a grassy area near the water for an impromptu photoshoot. I loved spending my afternoon with my family!
