Months and months ago we purchased a beautiful clock. We knew where we wanted to hang it, but it has sat on the floor in the family room ever since we brought it home just waiting to be hung. This last weekend I finally hung it up.
Grayson noticed it right away and began pointing it out.
We have never talked about the clock with him, but I'm sure we've talked about it in front of him as we planned the layout of the room. Without being prompted, Grayson began saying "Clok"! It's not a clear "clock", but you can certainly tell that he knows what that is. It just goes to show you that he is always listening and picking up on what you say.
Grayson has now added clock to a repertoire of words including Dada, Mama (yum, yum), Duke, dog, ha (hot), mmm (more), and lots of more sounds that probably only a parent could decipher.
