Spring Time Means Park Time

It was a chilly day on Sunday, but the rain stayed away so we took advantage of it and went to the park. Adam and I had served in the nursery at church that morning, and we left feeling very worn out. 12 kids under 3 with only two adults = exhausted! After a little time to relax at home, we were ready to get out of the house for a bit. Alex, Kellie and their dog Riley met us at The Park at Bothell Landing. I think we will be spending a lot of time at that park this Spring and Summer. There are trails, it's on the slough so there are lots of ducks and there is a great play area.

This was Grayson's first time being able to run free on the open grass. He was very unsure of the wet green stuff. Any time his hands touched the ground he would hold them out with a confused look on his face.
I absolutely adore this picture. What a sweet picture of a Daddy and his son, holding his hand as Grayson watches the ducks approaching.
Ok, I love this picture too!
Uncle Al pushing G on the swings. Grayson loves the swings!
The slough. It really is a beautiful park.

Family photo :)
Throwing Cheerios to the ducks. Grayson loved seeing all of the ducks! He would have happily walked off the edge into the water to get a closer look!
Petting Riley. He loves telling us what the dog says.
Swings!
Going down the slide with Auntie Kellie. It has been so much fun to experience all of the little joys of childhood again with Grayson. Every day he discovers something new and exciting. I'm looking forward to better weather so we can play at the park more often!
