It's no secret that I love all things pumpkin. Pumpkin desserts, pumpkin bread, pumpkin in my oatmeal, pumpkin scented candles, decorating with pumpkins...you name it, I love it. So every year I get excited about carving our yearly pumpkin. This was the first year that Grayson was able to participate in this tradition, and we all loved every moment of it.
At first he was a little hesitant about shoving his hands into the gooey mess, but he soon was up to his elbows in it. He diligently pulled out handfuls of goo and seeds and placed them in a bowl. Then (with Adam's help) he drew a face onto the pumpkin which Adam then carved out.
