Family Traditions

I have a childhood steeped in traditions. Every holiday has its own. I love that, and I have carried on most of them into my own family.

One of those traditions is going to a holiday show together as a family. This year we went to see Mannheim Steamroller. The music was great. Listening to their music I am swept into the Christmas Spirit.

The show was a lot of fun. Katelyn and Kerry were supposed to go with us, but they were obviously unable to go since they were in the hospital. We called Alex and Kellie to fill in, and we loved having them come along. The music was just what I thought it would be, but the videos they played during the show were in one word...AWFUL. They were from the 80s, had nothing to do with the songs and were just, well, awful. We couldn't help but laugh about them the entire time. Oh well.

After dinner we went to the Ikon Grill for Adam's last birthday dinner. We had the mac and cheese bites and the Ikon sundaes. Two of my favorite foods in one night. It was a good night.
