The other day I took Grayson to the park for a picnic and a little playtime before nap time. He had done such a great job of running errands with me in the morning. I like to try and plan something fun for him on days when I know I'm going to be dragging him around on errands. The park did the trick!
He scarfed his lunch and raced to the swings. My boy, who has no fear, shot his arms out to the side and said he was an airplane.
We went out after nap time for a bike ride to visit the new housing development that's being built next to our neighborhood. I'm sure we were breaking all sorts of rules, but I couldn't resist letting him get a close up for the digger.
He walked all around it pointing out the scoop, the crawler tracks and the cab. I have learned so much about construction from this little guy! If he had his way he would have crawled right up into the cab, but I drew the line there!
