Working in the Office

Grayson was honing his typing skills while "working" in my parent's home office. He grabbed my mom's glasses, put them on and said "workin'!"

He really liked typing on the keyboard. I had someone suggest that I get a play keyboard for Grayson to use while I'm sitting next to him working on the computer. I think I might try that.
Ever morning, one of the first things Grayson asks is, "Daddy workin'?". On the week days I tell him that he is. Then Grayson goes into his list of family members (and sometimes our dogs) who are also at work. For example, "Papa at office. Workin' hard. Harley at office. No! At home.". It's pretty sweet.

Then on weekends I get to tell Grayson that Daddy's in bed. Grayson's face will light up and he jumps up saying, "Wake up Daddy!" or "Tickle Daddy!". He races into our room, jumps on Adam in bed and tickles, hugs and kisses him awake. I love how much he loves his Daddy!

The other work related thing G has been saying lately is, "Mommy ride bus". He remembers that I told him how I used to ride the bus into work to my old office in Bellevue. He loves telling me about that. I think he likes it because he adores buses so much. It's not uncommon for him to break into a rendition of The Wheels on the Bus when he sees a bus on the road.
