I work at a job that is conducive to daydreaming. So this convenient for dreaming up plans for a nursery. Oh my I have so many ideas going through me head! I think the biggest challenge is going to be picking one color scheme/theme and heading in that direction. There are just so many options!
I've begun collecting images of nursery's I love for inspiration. This is one I recently came across and fell in love with. I love that the colors are all so bright, but it's calming and soothing at the same time. I'm border line obsessed with the elephant hamper pictured above. I've already shown it to Adam as a dream item for the nursery.
Believe it or not, this chair was only $9! That's right. You read that correctly. It's from the Salvation Army and they had a custom slipcover made for it. The slipcover gives new life to an old piece of furniture. Brilliant! I also love the embroidery hoops with the stretched fabric. It's a cheap way to bring in an artistic flair to the room, and also a way to bring in pops of other colors to the space. You can check out more pictures at Me and Wee's blog.
