Before Grayson was even born, he has been covered in prayer. We have been praying for his health, for a pregnancy without complications and for an easy delivery.
We have also been praying for his future. We pray for the friends he will make, for the experiences he will have, for the doors that will be opened for him and those that will be closed. We pray for the man he will become, for his character, for the decisions he will make and for his relationship with the Lord.
Keeping all of these prayers in mind, Adam and I chose a verse that would represent all that we pray about for Grayson.Colossians 1:9-10
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God."
I love that verse.
