A Visit From Grandpa and Grandma

Last weekend we were blessed to be able to spend time with Adam's parents, Stan and Joan...otherwise known as Grandpa Stan and Grandma Lew. It was too short of a weekend (they got in Friday evening and left Sunday morning!), but we were able to spend a lot of time with them.It was a fun filled weekend. We had dinner over at Alex and Kellie's on Friday night. On Saturday, Grayson and I went for a walk with both grandmas and Adam. It was on a boardwalk through a wetlands area near my parents house. The sun was shining and we were as happy as can be until the boardwalk started to sink into the water from the weight of the stroller (or it could be from the weight of us, but I'll stick to blaming it on the stroller :)). We turned around before our shoes went under water! Next time I'll bring my high-waters!

We spent the rest of the day enjoying the sunshine, Grandma and Grandpa cuddled with their grandson, we ate pizza and of course watched basketball (because what is March without March Maddess? :)). Oh, and we also took them on a tour of a house we're making an offer on! More on that adventure to come!
Grayson showed off all of his "tricks". He "talked", grabbed onto toys, giggled an kicked his legs every which way. I was hoping he'd be able to roll over for them, but we're still working on that one. I have the video camera handy though because I think he'll be rolling over any day now. Yesterday he did it with only a tiny push from me.
It was such a fun weekend, but it was too short! We're already looking forward to your next visit Grandpa Stan and Grandma Lew. We love you!
