7 Months!

Last week Grayson turned 7 months old! He is now officially more than half way to 1! How in the world did he get so old?! Grayson continues to be a wonderfully joy-filled baby, and he makes to laugh and smile nearly all day every day.

Here's what Grayson has been up to this month:

-He didn't get weighed or measured this month, but the fact that many pants are becoming capris and the baby pudge continues to show tells me that he's a healthy and growing (quickly) boy.
-He wears size 3 diapers still. Pampers at night and Costco brand during the day.-He is an amazing sleeper. I simply lay him down for naps and bedtime, and within 10 minutes he's (usually) asleep. We've been trying to start a routine of reading a book and praying with G before bed. He sleeps with a pacifier. He usually likes to have one in his mouth and one in his hand. -Nursing is getting a little more difficult as he can't seem to pull his eyes away from everything around him. He is getting more and more distracted. I've added another solid food meal to make up for a dropped nursing. His favorites are sweet potatoes, peas, pears and prunes. -Grayson has his first tooth! Another one is on the way. He's chewing on everything, and of course drooling buckets!-He can no longer play in his bouncer chair :( because he's just too big. Grayson does love playing in his exesaucer, crawling on his blanket, pulling himself up on the activity mat, and bouncing to the songs played by his stuffed animal "Scout".
-He is beginning to crawl. When something catches his attention, he focuses on it and won't stop scooting, squirming and crawling his way over until he gets a hold of it. -Grayson is such a joyful baby! He loves to laugh, giggle and interact with people. He's social and always wants to know what everyone is doing.
-One of his favorite things is going into the worship service at church. He dances to the music so much that it's hard to hold onto him! Even when he was in the womb he would kick like crazy when I worshiped at church. We usually keep him with us for worship and then take him to the nursery for the rest of the service (he also loves going to the nursery, and the nursery workers love him!).
-He loves to play peek-a-boo.
-He can sit up on his own, but once he starts to fall to one side of the other, he can't stop from toppling over.
We love you Grayson True!
