Grayson and I played dress up with Makenna the other day. I put her in a bonnet that Katelyn and I used to use on our dolls growing up. She looked cute, and Grayson asked for a picture with her.
On another note, Grayson is now in big boy undies all the time (with the exception of night time. He doesn't need a diaper at night, but he isn't ready for the change yet). We have been potty training him for a LONG time. He asked over a year ago if he could start going on the toilet, but it was only recently that he understood the concept of telling us he had to go to the bathroom before he went. After about a week of wearing just undies around the house for a quick bathroom change, and going every 20-30 minutes, he's got the hang of it. I'm so proud of him! There are so many "tricks" and methods for potty training out there, but I think the lesson we learned was that he's ready on his own time. It honestly just clicked for him. Now feeling confident without diapers in public and on outings is another story...we'll tackle that next.
