Rocks?

It was another warm day today, and that meant lots of playing outside. Our yard isn't quite ready for Grayson to run in, so we have been playing on the deck a lot on sunny days. Most times we will do bubbles, read books or bring toys out with us. Today I tried something new...

Grayson called them rocks...

But it was really just ice cubes.

I gave him one bowl full of ice cubes, a couple of spoons and told him to scoop the ice into the second empty bowl. It was an instant hit. I think he would have kept at it all afternoon, but his fingers were getting cold and we had to go inside. Simple toys are often the most fun.
