How did this beautiful little baby turn one? Oh my how the year has flown by! She is just a joy to be around. She loves to sit back and take it all in before jumping into what's going on around her. This is a cautious side of her that is very unlike her brother.
She is very social and smiles and waves to EVERYONE. She's quick to give loves and snuggles.
She adores her brother and has no problem keeping up with his rough and tumble play. She is a tough nugget from enduring his not to gentle loves. She loves to wrestle with Grayson and Adam as soon as he sits down on the family room floor after dinner.
She loves all things girly. Anything sparkly, glittery or pretty. She also loves playing with dolls. Without being taught, she is drawn to care for her dollies with kisses and loves. She pats their heads and shares her bottles and pacis with them.
She is a growing girl at 31.18 inches long (in the 97%) and 20.11 pounds (in the 44%). She loves food. Her favorites are bananas. It's really quite funny how excited she gets to eat them.
She is a Mommy's girl, and prefers to be right with me at all times (or at least have me in eye sight).
She is so funny, and loves to laugh. She loves being tickled right under her chin and on her tummy.
When she sleeps she likes to have a paci in her mouth, and one in each hand. She also doesn't sleep well without her cozy sleep sack on. She's sleeping really good these days and typically sleeps from 7:30pm-7:00am. She also takes a good long afternoon nap. Our schedule often prevents her from getting a morning nap, but if we're home she'll take a short nap then as well.
She's wearing size 4 diapers and size 12-18 month clothes. I love dressing her up. She's not a big fan of wearing headbands or clips though. They're usually out within a few minutes of me putting them on.
She is a picture poser. She loves having her picture taken and will usually be quick in showing her beautiful smile.
Teeth! And lots of them! She loves pretending to bite my finger. She was a trooper with several teeth coming in at one time.
Not a day goes by that I'm not thankful to be this sweet girly girl's Mama.
